We are currently seeking a full time Live-in Caregiver to join our team and work with a high-functioning quadriplegic male.
The Live-in Caregiver will be responsible for the day to day activities of the client and assisting in the day to day operations of the home.
This position will be helping the client live his life by helping care for his two small dogs and his home.
You will drive the client's accessible vans to run errands and transport the client to appointments and outings.
He likes to assist in cooking and smoking meats on his smoker.
He will travel some throughout the year.
We are very family oriented and welcome family members from time to time (with the client's discretion and leniency).
We use electronic devices for note taking and task tracking.
This position requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, and a desire to provide quality care.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day administrative operations of the home.
This includes but is not limited to:
meal planning and prep, transportation, and more.
Coordinate with other staff members and client on tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Maintain a clean working space at all times.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and coworkers in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times when working with clients or other staff members.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
